How to upload multiple documents for a property purchase

Learn how to upload multiple property documents, including buyer's agent agreements, inspection reports, and conveyancer statements.

Updated this week

When you're adding a new property in TaxTank, you’ll notice there's currently only an option to upload one file during the purchase process. This step is designed to quickly attach a key document, like a contract of sale or settlement statement.

We understand that a property purchase often involves several documents, such as:

  • Buyer’s Agent agreements

  • Conveyancer or solicitor statements

  • Building and pest inspection reports

  • Strata reports or other due diligence documents

Can I Upload More Documents?

Yes — while only one file can be uploaded during the property setup, you can upload as many additional documents as you like once the property is saved.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the Spare Tank from the left-hand menu

  2. Click on the Property tab

  3. Select the folder with the name of the property you’ve added (we automatically create a folder in Spare Tank when you add a property)

  4. Upload any supporting documents into this folder

These documents will stay organised and linked to the specific property, making it easy to access or reference them later.
