Reminders help you track the important dates that don’t always show up in your bank feeds, renewals, deadlines, appointments and everything in between. If it matters later, add a reminder now.
How to add a reminder
Go to Money Tank → Calendar
Click the + Reminder button
Complete the fields
Click Save
That’s it, your reminder will instantly appear in:
your calendar
the Events panel
the Upcoming events widget on your dashboard

Reminders can be quick and simple, or as detailed as you like.

Reminder name — what you’re tracking
Category — Personal, Property, Work, Business or Holdings
Property or business (if relevant)
Reminder date
Reminder type
Appointment or key date
Compliance / lodgment deadline
Document expiry
Family or personal
Financial review checkpoint
Insurance renewal
Lease or contract expiry / renewal
Licence / software renewal
Service or maintenance

Repeat rule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)

File attachments (PDFs, images or documents)

Why do I need to select a reminder type?
Reminder types make your calendar easier to organise and filter. For example, you can quickly filter to see all upcoming lease renewals or insurance expiries across every Tank, or narrow it down to a specific property or business. Selecting a type upfront helps you find important reminders faster later.
