How to add a PayID to your invoices in Sole Tank

Learn now how to add a PayID to your Sole Tank invoices so clients can pay faster using an email or mobile number, with automatic payment details included.

A PayID lets your clients pay you using something simple like your email address or mobile number instead of a BSB and account number. It makes payments faster and easier for your customers.

You would add a PayID if:

  • Your bank account has a PayID registered with your bank, and

  • You want it to appear automatically on your invoices as a payment option.

Step 1: Go to Bank Feeds

  1. From your dashboard, select Bank Feeds

  2. Find the bank account you use for receiving invoice payments

Step 2: Add or edit your PayID

  1. Select the three dots (⋯) on the bank account tile

  2. Choose Edit PayID from the dropdown menu

  3. Enter your PayID (for example, your email address or mobile number)

  4. Save your changes

Step 3: Use PayID on your invoices

Once your PayID has been added:

  • It will automatically appear in the Payment Details section of your invoices

  • Simply select this bank account when creating or editing an invoice

  • Your client will then see the PayID as a payment option on the invoice

Helpful tips

  • Your PayID must already be set up with your bank before adding it in TaxTank

  • You can update or change your PayID at any time from Bank Feeds

  • Adding a PayID does not affect your bank feed connection
