How to add comments to invoices in Sole Tank

Learn now how to add comments to your Sole Tank invoices to include notes, payment terms, or extra details that appear clearly on the final invoice sent to clients.

You can add comments to your invoices to include extra notes or information for your client (for example, payment terms or additional details about the service provided).

Step 1: Open an invoice

  1. Go to Sole Tank

  2. Select the Invoices tab

  3. Either:

    • Create a new invoice, or

    • Edit an existing invoice

Step 2: Complete invoice details

In Step 1, enter your invoice details (client, items, amounts, etc.).

Then move to Step 2, where you’ll see the Comments section.

Step 3: Add your comments

  1. Type your text into the Comments field

  2. You can expand the comments box using the bottom-right corner of the field for easier editing

  3. If your comments exceed the available space, they will automatically flow onto a new page of the invoice

Helpful tips

  • Comments appear on the final invoice sent to your client

  • This is a great place to add notes, payment terms, or extra explanations

  • Expanding the comments field makes longer messages easier to review before sending
