Allocating bank transactions to existing bills & invoices

You may want to add an expense transaction in Work Tank or Property Tank when you receive the bill or invoice and schedule the payment for a later date (for example. when its due).

In those circumstances you will have two steps;

  1. Add your expense transaction;

  2. When the transaction is paid, use Find & Match to reconcile the bank transaction

Find & Match Transactions

From the drop down you will see the 3 options. Choose 'Find & Match'.

Then select the blue Find and Match button to open the pop-up.

From the Find & Match pop-up, tick the transaction (or transactions) that have been paid. If you've part paid an invoice, simply select the split button and enter the amount paid.

Once you've allocated the entire bank transaction amount, press the confirm button to reconcile the transaction.

That's it, you're all done.
