How to edit or remove bank rules

Understand how to effortlessly edit or remove bank rules within TaxTank, ensuring flexibility and control.

If an amount or description has changed, or a bank rule is not picking up the right recurring transactions, you can edit the rule conditions from the bank rules tab.

How to Edit Bank Rules

From the Bank Feed, click the "Bank Rules" tab and select the rule type you want to edit (ie. expense, income or transfer). Then find the rule you want to update and select the related 'Edit' button. Then simply make your changes and select "Save".

You can also edit from the transaction line if a rule has triggered.

How to Delete Bank Rules

From the 'Bank Rules' tab select the rule you wish to delete and click on the red bin icon, then select 'Confirm' in the confirmation popup.
