Why you can't delete a transaction from bank feeds

Learn why there isn't a delete function for transactions that come through from Open Banking.

At the moment, it's not possible to delete or eliminate any transactions imported through an Open Banking connection.

We suggest assigning any transactions that aren't related to your income and expenses to a personal category. We offer a range of pre-made personal categories, and you can also create as many custom personal categories as you need, making it easy to categorise all your transactions.

Important: Since the ATO has access to your bank data, we don’t recommend deleting transactions anyway. It’s best to keep a full record and categorise everything appropriately to avoid any red flags down the track.
