How to fix missing bank transactions from live bank feeds

Learn how to check missing bank transactions in TaxTank, including steps to reconnect your feed and when to contact support for help.

Updated this week

Bank transactions can sometimes be delayed, especially if they're still pending with the bank or after weekends. However if you're noticing a longer delay than expected, the first thing to check is whether the bank accounts are still active. Just click the three dots on the bank tile to view their status.

⚠️Important: You’ll only receive transactions for accounts that are marked as active in TaxTank.

If your bank feeds are active, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting your bank feed to refresh the connection.

How to disconnect and reconnect your bank feed

  1. Select the three dots on the bank tile

  2. Click Disconnect

  3. Wait until the tile shows Disconnected (this may take a few minutes)

  4. Click the three dots again > Reconnect

  5. Follow the prompts from your bank, making sure to select all bank accounts you want connected

  6. Wait overnight for transactions to update

Still missing transactions?

If the transactions haven’t arrived by the next day, you can raise a support ticket directly from within TaxTank.

  1. Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner

  2. Scroll to the Tickets section

  3. Select "Missing Bank Transactions"

  4. Fill in the form with as much detail as possible:

    • Which bank and account is missing data

    • A list of the missing transactions

    • A screenshot of the missing transactions from your online banking

    • Invite TaxTank Support via the dashboard (bottom-right square)

Once we receive all the details, we’ll investigate and raise the issue with Basiq if needed.

Important:
Please don’t manually create missing transactions — it can throw out your balances and lead to duplicates when the actual data arrives.
