How to manage multiple TaxTank accounts and subscriptions

Learn how to set up an Advisor account to manage multiple subscriptions for your family group.

Updated over a week ago

In TaxTank, each person needs their own subscription to manage their personal income tax, expenses, and investments according to their ownership and claim percentages. However, we understand that sometimes there's a primary person keeping things up to date.

To avoid logging in and out of individual TaxTank accounts, you can easily manage multiple subscriptions from one place by setting up an Advisor Account. It's important to note that you'll need a separate email address for your Advisor Account, or you can use a little hack by adding a "+1" to your existing email (for example, Mike@taxtank.com.au would become Mike+1@taxtank.com.au) to create a second address.

Step 1 - Set up an Advisor Account

To set up an Advisor Account, head to TaxTank, select "Login," then "Register," and finally the "Advisor Group" button. Complete the fields with your preferred Group Name and use ABN 59 000 000 000 to create the group. Verify your email address to log in to your new Advisor Account.

Step 2 - Invite yourself and family groups as clients

After verifying your email address, log in to your new Advisor Account and navigate to the "Clients" tab. From there, select the "Add Clients" button and add the names and emails of your individual and family group TaxTank accounts.

Step 3 - Login to accept the invites

Log out of your Advisor Account, then log in to each of your individual TaxTank accounts. Go to the "Users" tab, select "Advisors," and accept the pending invitations.

Congratulations you're done!

Once you've accepted the invitations, log out of the individual accounts and log back into your Advisor Account. You can now manage all your family accounts from the dashboard by using the client dropdown to easily switch between accounts. Simple and efficient!

By following these steps, you can streamline the management of multiple TaxTank accounts, ensuring everything is kept up-to-date from one central place.
