Managing your subscription in TaxTank is simple. You can upgrade your plan, add additional Tanks, increase the number of properties in your Property Tank, cancel your subscription, manage a free trial, or update your payment method. Additionally, TaxTank offers multi-Tank discounts that are automatically applied during the subscription process, ensuring users can maximize their savings.
Change your subscription
You can add, upgrade, or cancel any individual Tank at any time without affecting the rest of your subscription.
To make changes, go to My Account in the top menu, then select the Subscription tab.
Click Upgrade Subscription, make your changes in the pop-up, and click Upgrade Subscription again to confirm.
Adding another Tank or more properties on an annual plan
If you are on an annual subscription and would like to add another Tank or increase the number of properties in your Property Tank, the additional amount is charged on a pro rata basis until your next renewal date.
This means you only pay for the remaining portion of your current subscription period, rather than paying for a full new year upfront.
For example, if your subscription renews in 6 months and you add another Tank today, you will only be charged for those 6 months.
At your next renewal date, all Tanks and any additional properties will renew together on the same date, making your subscription easier to manage.
This keeps everything aligned under one renewal date and one annual payment cycle.
Discount Application Policies
TaxTank offers multi-Tank discounts, which are applied automatically during the subscription process. If you initially subscribe to one Tank and later decide to add Property Tank or another service, the applicable discount will be applied at the time of the new subscription. This policy ensures that users can benefit from discounts even if they add services at a later date.
Full cancellation
If you want to cancel your entire subscription, go to My Account in the top menu, then select the Subscription tab and click Cancel Subscription.
You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period. However, if your subscription is canceled due to multiple failed payment attempts, it cannot be reinstated or reconnected. In such cases, you will need to create a new subscription to resume service.
Cancel free trial
If you are currently on a free trial, you cannot cancel before the 14-day period ends.
At the end of your trial, your account will automatically become inactive.
Update your payment method
To update your payment method, go to the Payment section and click Add New Card.
If you want the new card to be your primary payment method, hover over it and select Set as Primary.
