ANZ bank connection issues for multiple Pty Ltd or Trust profiles

If you're managing multiple Pty Ltd companies or trusts and trying to connect your ANZ accounts in TaxTank, you may have run into some challenges. Here’s why and how to handle it.

The current issue

ANZ requires that each Pty Ltd company or trust has a nominated representative who can approve data sharing. If you have multiple entities under your ANZ banking login, you’ll need to add additional bank profiles in TaxTank.

This allows you to connect each entity under a separate profile and manage them simultaneously.

How to add an additional bank profile:

  1. Go to Banks in your TaxTank dashboard.

  2. Locate the existing bank tile.

  3. Select the three dots (⋮) on the bank tile.

  4. Choose Connect additional profile.

  5. Follow the prompts and log in using your bank User ID. If this User ID has multiple profiles, you can log in multiple times, selecting a different profile each time to connect them separately.

  6. Confirm the connection.

  7. Add your bank accounts by selecting the three dots (⋮) on the bank tile and choosing Add Bank Accounts.

Once connected, you’ll see another tile for the same bank. Each tile represents a different login profile.

How to change the name of a bank profile:

  1. Select the three dots (⋮) on the bank tile.

  2. Choose Edit Profile Name, enter the new name, and click Save.

Why this helps

With this solution, you can now connect all of your accounts, no matter how many profiles or entity types you have. It works for multiple logins with the same bank, whether they are personal, sole trader, trust, or company IDs.
