How to add Trust or Business Accounts from ANZ

Learn how to connect your ANZ Trust or Business account to TaxTank by updating your Open Banking permissions.

Updated yesterday

If your ANZ Trust or Business account isn’t appearing in TaxTank, it likely means you need to update your Open Banking permissions and appoint a Nominated Representative through ANZ Internet Banking for Business.

Why can’t I see my ANZ Trust or Business account?

Before ANZ allows data sharing for business or trust accounts, an Administrator must appoint a Nominated Representative. This gives specific users permission to manage and authorise data sharing with third-party services like TaxTank.

How to add your ANZ Trust or Business account to TaxTank

1. Enable data sharing through ANZ

Administrators in ANZ Internet Banking for Business can appoint one or more users (Administrators or Authorisers) as Nominated Representatives.

To do this:

  1. Log in to ANZ Internet Banking for Business

  2. Go to Settings > Manage users

  3. Select the user you want to update

  4. Click Edit

  5. Toggle Data sharing access to Yes

  6. Review and Save changes

Note: Only Administrators can assign Nominated Representative access.

2. Wait for the permissions to take effect

It may take up to 48 hours for your updated access to reflect across ANZ’s systems.

3. Add the account in TaxTank

Once data sharing is enabled, return to your Bank Feeds in TaxTank. If you already have accounts active, you'll need to disconnect and then reconnect to add all accounts live again. If you don't have any ANZ accounts, simply click Add Bank and follow the process.

Still can’t see the account?

If the account still doesn’t appear after updating data sharing, it could be a delay on ANZ’s side. You'll need to contact ANZ directly and ask to speak to someone about Open Banking and CDR data sharing for your account.
