What to do when you can't select an account from your bank

Facing issues selecting a bank account in TaxTank? It could be due to Open Banking restrictions or data sharing permissions.

If you can see the account but can’t select it, this is usually due to bank-side permissions or account eligibility.

Common reasons

  • data sharing permissions not enabled

  • trust / business authority not completed

  • account not supported by Open Banking

  • account too new

  • account needs activation

What to do

Check with your bank that:

  • data sharing is enabled

  • the correct authority has been granted

  • the account is eligible for Open Banking

Then reconnect the bank in TaxTank.
